 Ballybay Mart.

In 1991 Corcaghan Co-op, through a sub-committee
led by Jack Hanna, purchased the Ballybay Mart
(Ballybay Livestock Sales). New Offices, 2 extra rings,
meal and hardware store, bulk meal bins and canteen
were built and it is now recognised as a leading Mart
in the North East with over 30,000 cattle sold each year.

 Corcaghan Co-op.

At the beginning of the 1900's under the influence
of Horace Plunkett small creameries were set up
in farming communities throughout the country.
Corcaghan Co-op was one of these and was
registered with the Registry of Friendly Societies in
1903.
